Spine Surgery
In almost every case, treatment for back and neck pain begins with conservative measures such as rest, lifestyle changes, medication, or physical therapy. The majority of the time, back and neck pain can be effectively treated without surgery.
For those rare instances when surgery is required, the Spine Center at UCH-Carrollwood was designed to provide a safe, technologically advanced atmosphere in which a full range of spinal surgical procedures are offered. Surgeries are performed in the state-of-the-art surgical suites in the Medical Arts Tower at University Community Hospital-Carrollwood.
Our medical staff includes some of Tampa Bay's most experienced board certified and fellowship trained spine surgeons. University Community Hospital-Carrollwood is their hospital of choice to perform spinal surgery. They have extensive experience in complex spinal surgeries.
